Initially when I saw this July's topic and color scheme I thought about the mountains of Tennessee. Yet, that seemed a little boring. I then thought about our second family vacation spot... Folly Beach, South Carolina. Folly Beach is very close to Charleston and we always make our way into town a day or two. The first fun location that came to mind was Rainbow Row, yet the colors just didn't work. I did a quick search for tourist attractions and Pineapple Fountain popped up. Perfect!
Next, my little Sunbonnet family. I'm in love with how they turned out! I had some jean material and decided to make Sam's overalls & the boys jeans from it. Love it! Of course the red plaid fit perfectly. I found the fabric for Sue's dress in my scrap box. It coordinates great with Sam & the boys outfits.
Two more months until our Sunbonnet quilt blocks will be ready to assemble. I fall more in love with it after each block!
