What's Quilt Block Mania?

In short, quilt block mania is a group of designers who create an unique quilt block to share based on a theme and color palette. Every block we create ise 12" finished. All of our patterns are free for the given month, thereafter some decide to create a quilt or a paid project. The first Tuesday of each month at 9:00am EST the new block is released. We work on a three month schedule. Currently we are set up through March 2021! Our colors and themes result in unique creativity.

It wouldn't be fair not to acknowledge our leader and the creative mind: Carolina Moore of Always Expect Moore.

Here was our December color palette:

The theme was "stars. This is my block called "Stargazing Sue." (Click on it to be directed to my Quilt Block Mania patterns).

I decided to make my blocks starting with October of 2020 a Sue or Sam scene. My blocks through March are finished. Shortly I will be sharing what I'm going to do with my blocks. You are welcome to join along. I'm not sure exactly what it will look like in the end, but I do know it will be cute!

Stay tuned in, our next blocks comes out in a few short days! Until then, take a look at my pattern, "Hope for Tomorrow." I am hosting a quilt along starting Thursday, January 7, 2021 with this pattern. For more information click here.
